Reframing Perspective and Identifying Direction

At the core of my philosophy is the belief that every person has the ability to grow and evolve, and that change is a natural and necessary part of life. Through collaboration and partnership, we will work together to identify barriers that may be preventing you from achieving your goals and create a roadmap towards meaningful and sustainable change.

Christopher Mooney LCSW
As a dual-licensed clinical therapist in New York and Connecticut, my expertise lies in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Mentalization-Based Therapy (MBT). I am dedicated to helping individuals navigate through anxiety, depression, substance use issues, and relationship challenges.
My approach is rooted in empathy and understanding, with a focus on creating a secure and non-judgmental environment where individuals feel comfortable exploring their thoughts and emotions. Regardless of whether our sessions take place through telehealth, in an office setting, or within the community, I firmly believe in fostering a dynamic, engaging, and collaborative therapeutic experience tailored to your unique needs.
